1 & 10
Water left, water right, and water long. Accuracy off the tee on this par 4 is one of the keys to this opening hole. On your opening shot imagine the 150 yard post is the pin and leave yourself a smooth 6 or 7 iron into the hole. The green is guarded in the front by water and the back by a bunker, if you hit this green in regulation and walk off with a par you have a great start to your round.
2 & 11
This is a par 4 that has water left and right of the fairway. Use the right fairway bunker as your aiming point and let one fly right down the middle. The approach shot is to a slightly elevated green guarded by a fingered bunker in front. This hole offers completely different looks from the 2 sets of tees for #1 & #10.
3 & 12
Your tee shot on this exciting par 4 should be an accurate one as there is bunkers and O.B. left and water long right. A smart shot is one played at the right edge of the left bunkers and it should find the fairway for your second shot into the green. Long hitters should aim at the bunkers left and hit a high draw that will fly past the O.B. left and leave yourself a short iron into one of the largest greens on the course.
4 & 13
The smart shot on this par 5 is one right down the center of the fairway leaving yourself in between two different bunker complexes left and right. From here it is decision time, a short layup in front of the pond that guards this elongated right to left green or give it a ride and try to get home in two. Be careful this green is very hard to get the ball close even with a short iron into the hole.
5 & 14
A very tricky par 3 guarded by bunkers and a pond in the front and grass mounds behind the green. Two sets of tees offers different looks at great golf hole that has even the best golfers stumped as to which way the putts are going to break on this slopped green. Many a ball has found its way down to Davey Jones Locker on this tough par 3.
6 & 15
The straightest and easiest hole on the golf course is what you see off the tee on this par 4. Grass mounds frame the fairway and lead you to a green that is slopped back to front. Do yourself a favor and leave your approach shot below the hole, because if you find your ball on the high side of the hole it will be a very difficult two putt to walk off this green with a par.
7 & 16
Our second par 3 welcomes you with an elevated green and fingered bunkers around the front and right of the green. A routine par is had here if your ball finds the putting surface. If you miss the green on the correct side an easy up and down can be had as well. The correct side changes daily as to where the pin is placed on this very large green complex.
8 & 17
A very non-threatening hole is what you see looking down the fairway from this par 4 tee box. Watch out for that small bunker hiding in the middle of the fairway it can jump up and make a good drive go bad. If you find the short grass with you tee shot aim for the center of the green and keep your ball away from the pond guarding the green to the right.
9 & 18
This par 5 has it all; grass, doglegs, sand, water and hills. It all adds up to beauty with a little bite in it. As you stand on this tee you have a decision to make play it smart down the left center of the fairway or hit it big over the left mounds and try to get home in two. Watch out for the O.B. left and the water right as you make your way down this fairway. Try and leave yourself about 100 yards into this green so you can walk off with a par. If you play this hole smartly and roll in a birdie don’t be surprised if the gallery of mallards and geese cheer for you as you pick you ball out of the hole.
